Ingredients

2
cup of sifted flour
2
cup of dark brown sugar
1/2
cup of butter
1
beaten egg
1
tsp. nutmeg
1
tsp. of soda
1
cup of sour cream

Directions

1.
Blend together the flour, dark brown sugar and butter. Place half of mixture in bottom of greased 9"x9" pan.
2.
To remaining mixture add the remaining ingredients.
3.
Pour mixture into cake pan.
4.
Top with cinnamon, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 cup nuts.
5.
Pecans, walnuts or almonds may be used.
6.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
7.
DO NOT OPEN OVEN DOOR.
8.
Cool in pan.
