Ingredients

3/4 cups all-purpose flour

cups confectioners' sugar

cup butter, softened

tsp vanilla extract

tsp almond extract

tbsp milk

tsp lemon extract

Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease 2 cookie sheets.

2. In a large bowl, cream together 1/2 cup butter and 3/4 cup white sugar until fluffy. Beat in 3 eggs, then stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and t teaspoon almond extract, along with 1/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup vegetable oil. Combine 3 3/4 cups flour with 5 teaspoons baking powder, stir in. Roll the dough into 1 inch balls. Roll these balls into long ropes and tie in loose knots.

3. Bake for 5 minutes on bottom shelf and 5 minutes on top shelf. When cookies cool, dip in the icing.

Cream together 4 cups confectioner' sugar, 1/2 cup butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 teaspoon almond, 1/2 teaspoon lemon. Beat in 3 tablespoons milk.
