Description:

I usually serve around Thanksgiving. It's nice and colorful, and easy to make. It's also a good way for kids to incorporate vegetables into their meal since it is so tasty!

8-12 depending on portion size

Ingredients

6
strips of bacon- cooked and crumbled
2
tbls chopped onion
2
tbls flour
1/2
tsp salt
1
cup sour cream
2
12oz cans of corn (drained)
1
tbls chopped parsley

Directions

1.
Saute onion in butter (use a large skillet)
2.
Blend in flour and salt when onion becomes soft
3.
add sour cream gradually. Stir until smooth.
4.
Bring to a boil, add corn and turn down heat.
5.
Cook until heated through.
6.
Pour into a greased 2 quart baking dish alternating layers of corn mixture and bacon..bacon on top.
7.
Top with the parsley
8.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
9.
Let cool and then enjoy!
