Ingredients

C flour
1
T baking powder

T sugar
1/2
raisins/currents
1
t carroway seeds
1
t salt
1
bottle of beer-room temperature

Directions

1.
Preheat oven to 350. Mix dry ingredients. Add beer and stir until just combined. Bake for 30 minutes. Brush melted butter on top of loaf, return to oven. Raise temperature to 400 and bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown. When removed from loaf pan, bread should sound hollow when the bottom is tapped. Cool. Slice to serve. Best eaten the same day.
