(8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni

c. New York sharp cheese
Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cook macaroni as package label directs; drain.
3.
Meanwhile, melt butter in medium saucepan.

Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth.
6.
Gradually stir in milk.
7.
Bring to boiling, stirring.
8.
Reduce heat and simmer mixture for 1 minute.
10.
Stir in 1 1/2 cups cheese mixture and the macaroni.
11.
Pour into 1 1/2 quart shallow casserole.
12.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese over top.
13.
Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is brown.
