Brazilian Chocolate Mousse recipe

Ingredients

cup sugar
1
envelope unflavored gelatin

eggs, separated

1/2 cups milk
2
squares (1 ounce each) unsweetened grated chocolate
1
cup ground cocktail peanuts
1/2
tsp vanilla

Directions

In a saucepan, thoroughly stir together sugar and gelatin. In a bowl beat egg yolks slightly, add milk and beat together to combine; stir into gelatin mixture. Add chocolate. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, just until mixture comes to a boil. Cool thoroughly at room temperature. Stir in ground peanuts and vanilla.

Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into chocolate mixture. Pour into serving dishes and chill until firm. Garnish with sweetened whipped cream and chopped peanuts.
