Ingredients

1/2
Cup Sour Cream
1
Cup Butter at room temp.
1
1/2 Cups Flour
Filling*
Powdered Sugar (optional)
* For breakfast or dessert, pie flling and berry preserves or jams make excellent filling. Sweet flavored cream cheeses are also very nice. For an appetizer, fill with cheddar or cream cheese and bacon, or pepperoni.

Directions

1.
Mix the sour cream, butter and flour together. Divide in half and wrap in plastic. Refrigerate overnight.
2.
Once dough is chilled, flour a board and roll the dough out with a rolling pin. Cut into evenly shaped squares of your desired size (but be careful not to go too small, or you won't have room for filling!). The smaller size you make, the more turnovers you will get. Once you have your square, put about 1 tsp of filling into the middle of it, then fold in half diagonally and pinch the edges shut so that filling won't leak out. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar if desired.
