CHANUKAH FRUIT KUGEL

Ingredients

1) 1/2 cup seedless raisins
2) 1/2 cup Concord grape wine or apple juice
3) 1 (12-ounce) package wide egg noodles
4) 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted margarine
5) 2 apples, peeled, cored and diced
6) 4 eggs, well beaten
7) Salt
8) Freshly ground pepper
9) Cinnamon-sugar

Directions

1.
Soak raisins in wine between 4 hours and overnight.
2.
Preheat oven to 375° F.
3.
Cook noodles in boiling water 5 to 10 minutes, or until tender; drain.
4.
Combine noodles, margarine, apples and drained raisins in large bowl. Add eggs; mix well. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
5.
Spoon mixture into well-oiled 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
6.
Bake 35 to 45 minutes, or until top is brown and crisp. Serve it.
