thickly sliced Challah bread

1/2 cups sliced almonds
Directions

Heat pan to medium heat. While waiting to heat up, lightly whisk eggs, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp brown sugar and almond extract together.

Apply butter to pan as desired. Soak slice of Challah in egg batter, let drip excess egg off and place on pan. Flip over once golden brown and repeat with the rest.

For the topping, sift cinnamon and brown sugar together. Dust finished challah slices before serving, add almond slices.
