Directions
1.
Cut the chicken breast in half and remove the skin.
2.
Heat the oil in a large skillet.
3.
Add the skinless chicken breast and brown on both sides.
4.
Add the chopped onion and garlic and cook until tender.
5.
Add the tomatoes, tomato puree, oregano, salt and pepper.
6.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, remove cover and cook additional 15 minutes.
7.
Chicken cacciatore is great served over rice.
