Description:

Probably the best treat of the Hanukkah season for me are these yummy Rum Balls. Even better? There's no baking involved!

About 36 Rum Balls

Ingredients

1/2
cup dark chocolate
1/2
cup of milk chocolate
2
tbsp of condensed milk
1/2
cup of icing sugar
3
tbsp of corn syrup
2
cups of vanilla wafers, crushed into crumbs
1
cup ground pecans or walnuts
1/4
tsp of salt
2
tsp of vanilla
1/3
- 1/2 cup of dark rum
cocoa for coating

Directions

1.
In a heavy pot, melt the chocolate on low heat Use the milk to thin the chocolate as needed.
2.
Remove the chocolate mixture from the heat and stir in the icing sugar and corn syrup.
3.
Mix in the vanilla wafers, nuts, salt, vanilla and rum if you are using them.
4.
Refrigerate the mixture until firm.
5.
Roll the mixture into small 1 inch balls then coat with cocoa
