Ingredients

2
Cans Cream of Corn
4
Cups of Milk
1/2
Cup Chopped Onion
10
Strips of Bacon
1
tsp Salt (or to taste)
1/4
cup of Butter

Directions

1.
Cook bacon in a frying pan until crisp. Place bacon on a paper towel and save bacon grease. Cook butter and onions in a soup pot until tender. Add bacon grease and creamed corn and milk. Stir continuously (important so it doesn't burn to the bottom) on medium heat until soup becomes thick. Usually takes about 15-20 minutes. When to desired thickness crumble bacon into bits and serve soup with bacon sprinkled on the top. Serve with bread or crackers. Enjoy with friends and family.
