Beat the butter and sugar until it mixes well set aside. Beat the egg well until fluffy, mix both the egg and the butter mixture and beat in an egg beater for 5 minutes. Fold in the maida. Add the nuts and raisins and mix well. Heat three teaspoon of sugar until brown. Add little water to the caramel and make it into a thick paste allow to cool and pour it in the cake mixture stirring slightly. Pour it into a baking tin and bake it in a preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the cake form the oven when it is done and cut it into small pieces after setting.
