Ingredients

tbsp Earth's Balance (or butter/margarine of your choice)
pinch of fresh grated nutmeg
Directions

Peel and core apples, chop in to large chunks.

Melt Earth's Balance in a medium sauce pan and add apple chunks. Cook apples down until they become soft adding tablespoons of water as needed. Add honey, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg and mash with a potato masher. Serve warm or chilled. Excellent with vegetable or potato latkes.
