Cilantro Sauce

Description:

This "recipe" is very fast and loose with amounts and is dependent a lot on your personal tastes. I use this sauce on tacos, fajitas, chicken, shrimp, whatever. I created it cool down a spicy Mexican stew that I make, inspired by a dish that I had at a local Mexican restaurant (shrimp with cilantro sauce). I will say that I actually don't like cilantro at all, but I like this sauce a lot. It really tempers and balances the flavor of the cilantro.

Ingredients

1
bunch of cilantro
1/2
lime, juiced
1/2
tsp. sea salt
1/2
- 3/4 c. sour cream
water (or half-and-half) to thin to desired consistency

Directions

1.
Cut the stems off the cilantro and dump all of the ingredients in your blender. Blend on high until you get a wonderful green sauce. Add more sour cream for a thicker sauce (or to make a dip), add more water (or half-and-half) for a thinner sauce to drizzle.
2.
Enjoy often!
