Ingredients

peeled, grated coconuts (save the coconut water)
4
clavos de olor (ground) aka cloves
Directions
1.
Cook the ground coconut, coconut water, 1/2 lb of sugar and the cloves over low heat.
2.
When the syrup begins to thicken add the rest of the sugar and the fresh lemon juice.
3.
Mix only with a wooden spoon (metal will mess with the taste) until it hardens.
4.
Take small portions with the spoon.
5.
Put them on wax paper, let cool and enjoy.
