Directions

Soak the garbanzos overnight in water.

Bring the chicken stock to a boil and add the garbanzos - keep an eye of them. It is a good idea to keep warm water around just in case the stock boils out.

When the garbanzos are tender, lower the flame and add the carrots and rice.
5.
Serve warm with lemon slices.
