tsp melted fat or salad oil

cup corn niblets, if canned, drain first
Directions

Stir the milk into the beaten egg mixture, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt and stir into the egg/milk. Beat in the teaspoon of fat/oil. Add the corn and stir together. Fry in salad oil over medium heat until fritter batter bubbles appear on top, then turn over and brown on other side.
