Ingredients

cups of cornmeal

1/2 cups boiling water
3
tbsp. of lard or vegetable shortening
3
tsp. of salt

Directions

1.
Melt lard in 10 inch cast iron skillet and swirl to coat.
2.
Pour remaining fat into other ingredients and mix.
3.
Bake at 350¼ F for 45- 50 min. or until golden brown.
