Directions
1.
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then transfer the vanilla cookies to a clear plastic bag. Use a rolling pin to run over the bag to break the cookies into fine crumbs.
2.
Mix the vanilla cookie crumbs with the melted butter and sugar.
3.
Then take a 9-inch pie mold, add the vanilla cookie crumbs and press down. The crumbs should also be firmly pressed to the sides of the mold.
4.
Once you are satisfied, transfer the pie dish to the oven. Bake for around 10 to 12 minutes. During this time the crust will turn light brown in color.
5.
Remove the crust from the oven and allow it to cool. This is important.
6.
Add the strawberry filling only after the pie crust has cooled down completely.
7.
Note: You can also use Oreo Cookies or Graham Crackers instead of Vanilla Cookies. Same procedures apply.
