Description:
Fill a cooking pot with 4 cups of water, add the lentils, tomato, salt, red chilli and tumeric pwder, bring this to a boil and then let it simmer till the lentils are gone soft, well cooked and the mixture is slightly thick. In a fry pan heat the oil add in garlic and cumin seed (bee careful and stand back), add the oil while hot to the lentil mixture and stir well later. The Dahl is ready to serve, garnish with corrainder finely chopped. Serve with white rice or pita bread
