1. Preheat oven up to 400 degress F.

2. Combine milk and cornmeal, then put aside for 5 min.

3. In a large bowl, whisk together baking powder, flour, salt and sugar.

4. Mix this mixture in the cornmeal mixture, oil, and eggs until smooth.

5. Pour this batter into a prepared pan.

6. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center of the cornbread comes out clean.
