Description:

This is an easy one! I live downtown, so I mostly only have corner stores to shop in and can get all of the ingredients there!

Ingredients

1/2
cup frozen Broccoli
1/2
cup frozen peas
1/4
cup butter or margarine
Garlic powder to taste
2
cups diced cooked chicken
1/2
cup uncooked rice
salt to taste
pepper to taste as well
Chili powder or Tapatio (or Tabasco, if you must. meh. there are so many better ones)
1
can cream of chicken soup
1
cup of milk
and 1 cup of water
Parmesan cheese is good, but you can sub it for whichever your little heart desires!

Directions

1.
Melt the butter with the garlic powder and throw in the veggies until they aren't frozen so much, then put them in a greased casserole.
2.
Sprinkle the rice over the top of all of this.
3.
In a separate bowl, mix the soup, milk and the water and stir it up until it's smooth.
4.
Pour the mixture over the ingredients that are already in the casserole.
5.
Bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees. If you look and think it looks too dry before then, add some more water (or chicken stock, 'cause that's always good!)
6.
Sprinkle the cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes or so.
7.
Let it sit for five minutes or so so you don't burn your mouth (trust me on this one) then eat!
