Directions

Soak the garbanzos overnight

Bring the garbanzos to a boil in the chicken broth

When the garbanzos are tender, lower the flame and add the carrots and rice
5.
Boil for 20 more minutes (stir and watch them so they don't boil over or dry up)
6.
When the rice is cooked serve the soup and put little lime slices on the side
7.
Ask your guests to squeeze a little lime juice into the soup
