Description:

Tiny hands will tear off mittens and warm up with a hearty helping of this Fireplace Stew. Made with chicken, corn, potatos, onion, salsa and an array of spices that is sure to warm your heart and your tastebuds.

Prep:

20-30 minutes prep time, 5-6 hour cook time in slow cooker.

Ingredients

chicken breasts, chopped into 1 inch pieces

medium potatos, chopped (more or less to your liking)
1
medium onion, diced
1
can kernal corn
1
large jar spicy salsa (add more if you'd like, or use mild)
1
cup water
Salt & Pepper to Taste
----Optional----
Chilli Peppers
Jalapenos

Directions

1.
In large slow cooker, mix chicken, potatos, onion and lastly, the corn. Cover with entire jar of salsa and add water. Add more water or salsa if entire pot is not covered with mixture. Stir, and add salt and pepper to your taste. Add peppers or additional spices. Cook on high for about 6 hours or until chicken and potatos are fully cooked and tender.
