Description:

This is a recipe for masala fish which is neither fried nor boiled.

Ingredients

5
slices or fillets of seer fish
10
red chillies (long)
1"ginger
6
flakes garlic
1/4
tsp turmeric powder
salt and vinegar to taste

spoon oil
2
sprigs curry leaves
a little water

Directions

1.
Clean and wash the fish fillets or slices.
2.
Grind red chillies ginger, garlic turmeric pd and salt with a little vinegar. Apply the paste to the seer slices and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
3.
Heat oil Add the curry leaves Place the fish in the pan and add 1/2 cup water and let it boil on full flame for 5 minutes Turn and let it boil again for 5 minutes. Simmer till the masala thickens Check for salt to taste
