Ingredients

8
slices of bread (white or wheat is fine)
3
large eggs
1/3
c. milk
2
tbsp sugar
1
tbsp vanilla or orange extract
Sliced ham to make sandwiches
Enough Swiss cheese to make four sandwiches

Directions

1.
Take a bowl and crack your eggs into it. Add your milk and sugar and extract. Whisk the eggs until they are smooth. Then, start a pan over medium heat with a little non stick spray in the bottom.
2.
Quickly dip one piece of bread into the egg mixture and place in pan. Layer ham and cheese onto the bread. Dip a second piece of bread in the egg mixture and lay on top of the ham and cheese.
3.
After a minute or two, turn your sandwich over, and allow to cook until both sides are well done. You want them to be a deep golden brown. You may also want to place a lid over the pan for a minute after you have flipped them, to cook them thoroughly.
4.
Repeat with all sandwiches and enjoy!
