Put the tofu on a plate with paper towels underneath and a late on top to drain the extra liquid.

Leave there for about half an hour.

Mix scallions with sake, soy sauce and mirin.

Set aside for 20 minutes.

Slice the garlic super thin.

Heat oil in work and fry the garlic until it starts to turn gold.

Take out the garlic and put on paper towel to absorb extra oil.

Do not get rid of the oil.

Chop the tofu into squares.

Put into the sake marinade.

Leave tofu marinating for 20 minutes.

Do not get rid of the marinade.

Heat the oil that was left in the wok on medium.
16.
Add the tofu and cook without crowding.
17.
Cover the wok and cook for about 6 minutes.
18.
The tofu will get firm and golden.
19.
Keep an eye on it so it does not burn.
21.
Cook another 2-4 minutes.
22.
Serve and add a pat of butter on top and the garlic.
