Ingredients

calabaza (or other squash) to work as thickener, chopped small
1
large yellow onion (chopped small)
1
pound garbanzo beans (soaked overnight)
2
sausages (your favorite kind)
Directions

Heat the oil in a dutch oven on the stove.
2.
Add the sausage and onion and cook for a minute.
3.
Add the garbanzos and the rest of the ingredients (except the cilantro).
5.
Simmer for about an hour or until the beans are tender.
6.
Serve with white rice on the side and garnish with cilantro for a little freshness.
