Garlic Patatoes

Garlic Patatoes

I'm a Fan Too

Description:

This is a Indian dish which I learnt from my mother and used to often do this when alone. Easy to make and yummy to taste. It can go very well with Daal and Rice, Rotis/Nan. I prefer it very spicy and add a lot of red pepper powder and lot of garlic to it.

Ingredients

3
big Potatoes,2 full bulbs of garlic, Red pepper powder (Lal Mirch),salt to taste

Directions

1.
Clean and cut the patatoes into strips (half the size of french fries). I like it will skin on. You can cut it without skin. After cutting, add salt and some Lal Mirch (Red Pepper) powder to the patatoes and mix well. Keep aside for 15 minutes. Take the garlic and smash all of them with the skin on. Heat the wok and add good amount of oil (as needed to stirfry veggies). When the oil is very hot, add the garlic and fry it till dark brown. When the garlic is cooked and its about to burn, add the patotoes and mix well. The patotoes need to cook in the oil so take care that there is sufficient oil in the pan while putting in the patotoes. Keep stirring till the potatoes are crispy and cooked. Serve this with Daal and Rice or devor it with Bread/Nan/Roti.
