Authentic german potato salad

Ingredients

yukon gold potatoes
1/2
pound bacon
1
large onion

tbsp white vinegar
1/2
cup chicken broth (condensed)
salt
pepper

Directions

1.
boil unpeeled potatoes until just tender - approx 20-25 minutes. Brown bacon until very crisp adding onions towards the end of browning the bacon. Cut cooked peeled potatoes into thin slices. Add cooled bacon, onions and about 4 tablespoons of the bacon fat to the potatoes and stir gently. Sprinkle the vinegar over the potatoes. Add a little of the chicken broth (you just want to make the potatoes slightly moist not wet) and salt and pepper to taste.
