German Spiniach Dish

Simple German meal that is delicious. You have to try it at least once before deciding your feelings on it.

Ingredients

Creamed spiniach
mash potatoes
butter
milk
Egg

Directions

1.
Cream spiniach. I usually do this by adding milk and sugar while the spiniach is cooking. Add each until you find the right consistancy.
2.
Mash potatoes. Make sure the skins are off and the potatoes are cooked through. Russett potatoes are good for this dish. Add a little milk and butter to taste in the potatoes and mash.
3.
Cook one egg over-easy.
4.
Assemble the dish with creamed spiniach on the bottom. Mashed potatoes on top of the spiniach and the egg over-easy on top.
5.
Dig in and enjoy. Trust me it is much tastier than it sounds.
