grams walnuts (without shell)
Nutella, meringe, whipped cream, jam...
Directions

Crush 400 grams walnuts with the roller (works better than the blender for this recipe). Put them in a bowl with 400 grams sugar, 8 eggs and a teasp. of vanilla essence. DO NOT BEAT! Mix the ingredients just until they're meshed together.

Cover a baking tin with two layers of well-buttered baking paper. Pour the nut mix in. You must use a tin big enough so that the poured mix is no higher than 1,2 inch (3 cm), for the cake must be cooked very quickly.

Bake in the oven at 200ºC. When it's firm but still moist, take it out, put it on the plate where you'll serve it and let it cool. Yes, looks poor, but...

Once cool, spread nutella or jam on top and cover with a good layer of meringe or whipped cream.
