Freshly ground black pepper
Directions

Cut the gorgonzola into small pieces
2.
Pour milk into a heavy saucepan
3.
Heat on low but not so low that it is simmering
4.
Add the gorgonzola and butter while stirring with a wooden spoon
5.
When it is smooth add the cream and heat until combined
6.
Sprinkle a little black pepper
7.
Serve over your favorite cooked pasta
