Description:

This recipe is so fancy its almost embarrassing! My grandmother came up with this easy almost homemade recipe a number of years ago. I make it for parties and its great for New Year's as its a taste of summer in winter.

Prep:

depends on how long biscuits must cook

Ingredients

2
cans flaky refrigerator biscuits
1
8oz carton cream cheese
2/3
cup mayonaise
3-4
green onions
parsley
2
dashes garlic salt
1
medium celery stalk
1
green pepper
fresh mushrooms (small package)
1
large tomato
1
small can black olives

Directions

1.
Open canned biscuits and place onto large rectangular greased pizza/cookie pan. Spread out like you would pizza dough. Bake according to directions on cans, but check frequently to make sure that they do not burn. You want the crust to be light golden brown. Chop up all veggies into small pieces. With an old towel or lots of paper towels, press all of the liquid out of the vegetables. Once the vegetables are as dry as you can get them, mix them with the cream cheese and mayonnaise until well blended, adding the garlic salt as desired. Spread mixture over cooled biscuit crust. Sprinkle with fresh parsley. Cut into small squares to create a finger food appetizer. Serve chilled.
