Ingredients
4
Tbsp fresh squeezed juice of a grapefruit
Directions
2.
Muddle the ginger root.
3.
Put the muddled ginger in the bowl.
5.
Put the water in the bowl with the ginger.
6.
Cover and set aside in a warm area (a sunny window works).
7.
Let it sit for one hour.
8.
Put the cheesecloth in the strainer.
9.
Push the ginger mixture through the cheesecloth into a pitcher.
10.
When done, squeeze the cheesecloth so you get out as much juice as possible.
11.
Add the grapefruit juice, sugar and cloves.
12.
Fill the pitcher with luke warm water so you have a full gallon.
13.
Put the pitcher next to your window and let it sit for an hour.
15.
Put it in the fridge and serve when cold.
