fresh or frozen halibut steaks (1 1/2 pounds)
1/4
cup of teriyaki sauce
1/2
tsp. of ground ginger
1/8
tsp. of garlic powder
Directions

Thaw halibut steaks if frozen.
2.
Place halibut steaks in plastic bag.
3.
Combine teriyaki sauce, lemon juice, cooking oil, dry mustard, ground ginger, and garlic powder; pour over halibut steaks in bag.

Close bag securely and place bag in pan or bowl. Marinate halibut in refrigerator 3 to 4 hours, turning occasionally.
5.
Remove halibut from marinade and arrange steaks in 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inch baking dish; pour marinade atop. Micro-cook, covered, until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork, about 6 minutes, turning steaks over after 3 minutes.
