Ingredients

egg
water
saucepan

Directions

1.
Put egg in sauce pan.
2.
Fill sauce pan with cold water until it is about 1 inch over the egg.
3.
Turn heat on to medium until it starts to boil.
4.
Reduce heat to low.
5.
Leave egg there for about 15 minutes.
6.
Prepare a bowl with ice & water.
7.
Take egg out of hot water with a slotted spoon.
8.
Carefully drop into ice water, let cool (the ice water makes the egg shrink away from the shell).
9.
Crack egg at both ends.
10.
Roll egg forward on cutting board.
11.
Pick an end and peel, there should be a thin membrane between the shell and the egg, if you grab a little bit of the membrane, you can easily peel the shell off.
