Ingredients

stick butter , unsalted, room temp.

tsp lemon / orange zest
3/4
cups of walnuts, chopped or any other nuts you like
1/4
sugar ginger (candied ginger) finely chopped
white or dark chocolate chips (10 oz)
some green and red decorating sugar sprinkles
Directions

mix flour, baking powder in bowl. Add:

sugar, butter zest and salt

1 egg at a time until everything is well blended with an electric mixer.

add the nuts, cranberries and ginger

line large baking sheet with parchment, form the dough into a small log (15 inches x 4 inches) . Bake until golden brown (40 min at 350 degrees) let cool.

put log onto a cutting board and with a serrated knife cut on a diagonal into 1/2 inch thick slices. Arrange the slices on the baking sheet, and bake another 15 min unitl nice and golden...

Melt chocolate in microwave 30 sec at at time, stirr and return for another 30 sec until melted.

Once biscotti are cooled, dip the ends in either the white, dark chocolates then cover with the green / red sugar sprinkles.. Be creative, however you want to dip them is fine. Viola. X-mas biscotti.
