Hot Wings

I'm a Fan Too

Description:

I've had lots of people ask me for a hot wing recipe over the years. I think to myself "oh! come on! This ain't rocket science here!" They are the simplest thing in the world to make and oh so good.

Ingredients

1
large bottle of Frank's Hot Sauce
1
Stick of unsalted butter
2
lbs of chicken wings cut into sections and tips discarded
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Chili Powder
Smoked Paprika

Directions

1.
Put the hot sauce and butter in a non-reactive pan and heat over medium heat until the butter melts stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
2.
Put the wing sections in a pan and season liberally with the spices.
3.
Bring a deep fat fryer (follow manufacturer's directions carefully so as to not overfill with oil) up to temp until heat is between 375F to 400F.
4.
Fry the wings in batches for 12 minutes making sure they are cooked through. Drain cooked wings and while they are still hot toss them in a bowl with the hot sauce/butter mixture. Use plenty of napkins and enjoy!!!
