Description:

This is one of the easiest recipes to make ever. It's super healthy and tastes delicious. Plus you can spice it up a bit by adding cumin or fresh herbs and some olive oil to make it look pretty. Serve it with chips, pita, bread, feta...your guests will love it. If you like it plainer, leave out the cayenne and the cumin. Either way it rocks.

Ingredients

1/2 cups of chickpeas (soak overnight, then boil them until they are soft and mushy)
1/3
cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4
cup of tahini (you can get it at any middle eastern supermarket or go online to buy)

cloves of garlic, crushed
1-2
tbsp of olive oil
1/2
tsp of ground cumin
1/2
tsp of cayenne pepper
pinch of freshly ground black pepper

tsp of salt
1/3
cup of water
parsley and olive oil to garnish

Directions

1.
Put 1/2 the lemon juice and all ingredients into the blender (except the chickpeas and the parsley and oil).
2.
Blend for 5 seconds.
3.
Add the chick peas and blend on high until it is creamy, about 10-15 seconds.
4.
Serve and enjoy.
