cups crumbs day old brad (be cheap...it's ok)

oz canned solid white tuna in water, drained

Cut off 1 inch slice across the top and cut the end from the stem (leave a stub)

Remove a few of the lower leaves

Snip the tips with scissors

Slightly spread the artichokes open and soak in cold salted water for 5 ninutes

Place bread crumbs in bowl with 1/2 tsp salt, pepper, oil, oregano, garlic and parsley

Fill artichokes with mixture

Pour water into sauce pan with a lid

Add salt, galirc cloves, bay leaf, and more oil

Put artichokes in sauce pan

squeeze them in so they are upright

cover and simmer for 40 minutes

add liquid as it boils off

Serve each artichoke on a dish, throw out the bay leaf and the garlic clove

Slide out a leaf and bite into it, let your teeth scrape off the stuffing. you will get some of the artichoke as well. sooo good.

Add bacon if you like
