Traditional German holiday cookies

45 minutes:25 baking,20 prep time.

Ingredients

whole Eggs

pound lt Brown Sugar

Cups flour

TSP cinnamon
1/4
Pound Almonds OR Pecan nuts
2oz Citron

Directions

Preheat Oven to 375 Degree F.

Grease 2 shallow baking pans 10" X 15".

Beat eggs & sugar together until light and well mixed.

Mix flour,cinnamon w/nuts & citron,Combine the 2 mixtures.Spread evenly between baking pans,Bake at 375 for about 25 minutes.Let cool,cut into strips. Can frost w/confectioners Sugar Glaze while warm.
