Description:

This one sounds gross, but oh! It's fantastic! And friggin' hilarious too! They look best if you happen to have those banana split dishes, but you are clever, and I am sure that you can find something at the corner store to use as a substitute, or just use a bowl if they don't have anything that'll work.

Ingredients

2
sausages or hot links
Instant mashed potatoes
1
package of instant gravy
salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1.
First, cut the sausages in half, length-wise and fry them up (if you'd like to bake them, try it, I've not done it that way yet, but I don't see why it wouldn't work).
2.
Prepare mashed potatoes as directed, but it works best if you make them on the thicker side by adding more flakes.
3.
Also prepare the gravy, as directed.
4.
Put two of the slices in banana split dish on the sides. With an ice cream scoop, put two scoops of mashed potatoes on top of the sausages.*
5.
Put gravy on top of potatoes and top each scoop with one olive each!
6.
Super fun and delicious!
7.
*To make this look even cooler, divide the gravy into two bowls and add black food coloring to one of them. It makes it look like chocolate syrup, and the plain stuff looks kinda like butterscotch! Yay!
