Ingredients

1/4
cup of raisins
3/4
cup of water
2
cups of cranberries
3/4
cup of white sugar
1
(15 ounce) package double crust ready-to-use pie crust

Directions

1.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
2.
Place raisins and water in a saucepan, and allow to soak for 20 minutes.
3.
Stir in the cranberries and sugar; bring to a simmer. Cook until the cranberries are soft, about 10 minutes Pour into prepared pie shell, and cover with top piece of pastry.
4.
Seal the edges and flute if desired. Cut a few small holes in the top to vent steam.
5.
Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 35 to 45 minutes.
6.
Allow to cool completely before serving.
