Description:

Mornay is pretty much a Bechamel with some cheese and it is delicious. I usually add some mushrooms to it. I usually don't measure so those are estimates. Just taste the sauce as you make it

Ingredients

1
Tablespoon of Butter
2
Tablespoons of flour
1
cup milk
grated parmesan cheese

Directions

1.
In a small sauce pan, heat the milk (on low so it does not burn)
2.
In another sauce pan, melt the butter
3.
Gradually add the flour. It will make a clumpy and pasty mixture.
4.
Gradually add the warm milk while stirring. You may need more milk.
5.
When the sauce reaches a creaminess that you like, add the cheese gradually while stirring until it is as cheesy as you love it.
6.
Pour over pasta cooked with peas and bacon and add a little salt and pepper.
7.
You can also pour it over vegetables like broccoli.
