Description:

I have been making this chili for years now. For the past eight, I have been making it vegetarian style. I recently had a party and served this and people literally scraped out the pot with a spatula to get the last drop! Everyone loves it!

Ingredients

1
12 oz package of vegetarian "beef" crumbles
1
6 oz tomato paste
1
can tomato soup
1
can dark red kidney beans
1
can light red kidney beans
2
29 oz cans tomato sauce
chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, sugar or salt

Directions

1.
Place all ingredients other than spices into the crock pot and combine well. Set crock pot on high. Cook at least 6 hours stirring occasionally. Add amounts of all spices other than sugar and salt (I usually start out with a tablespoon of each) to taste. Let cook for at least an hour before tasting and tweaking the spices to your liking. If the chili is too acidic, add some sugar to taste. If the chili is too sweet, add some salt to taste. ENJOY!
