Ingredients
1
1/4 cups all-purpose flour
8
tbs (1 stick) unsalted butter
3/4
cup light brown sugar
3/4
cup peanut butter (either creamy or chunky)
Directions
1.
1. Preheat your oven to 350°. Melt the stick of butter and let cool for a couple minutes. Don't throw the butter wrapper away! Use it to grease a 9-inch pan.
2.
2. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.
3.
3. In a large bowl, whisk the butter and sugars. Add the peanut butter and beat thoroughly. Add the milk, eggs, and vanilla.
4.
4. Stir in the oatmeal, then the flour mixture. When you add the flour, stir only until the flour is mixed in. Stirring too much will make the blondies tough.
5.
5. Pour the batter into the pan, and smooth the top with a spoon. Bake for 30 minutes. These are great piping hot from the oven.
