cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature

cup smooth peanut butter

cup sugar, plus more for sprinkling

cup packed dark-brown sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

cream together butter and peanut butter until smooth

Add both sugars and continue to mix until smooth

Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition

whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt

Form dough into a ball and wrap with plastic

refrigerate until firm, at least 4 hours.

Roll dough into 1 1/2-inch balls
