Ingredients

Tbsp butter
1
full chicken cut into pieces
3
carrots peeled and sliced
1
onion peeled and sliced
2
Tbsp flour
1
cup chicken stock
juice of 1/2 lemon
zest of 1 lemon
1
bay leaf

Directions

1.
Melt the butter in a casserole.
2.
Brown the chicken in the butter.
3.
Add to the casserole.
4.
Add flour and stir.
5.
Add the stock.
6.
Add lemon zest, lemon juice and bay-leaf.
7.
Cook on low heat for 45 minutes.
8.
The result is a creamy with a slight citrus hint and really tender chicken.
